Get unplugged for Earth Hour!

This Friday March 25 at 2-3 pm, Bowmore's lights will be turned off and appliances and computers unplugged as our school joins in the TDSB-wide Earth Hour campaign.

Last year TDSB schools and offices reduced electricity use an impressive 23% for the Friday TDSB Hour, and 15.24% over the Earth Hour weekend.

Ask your kids what they did for Earth Hour at Bowmore, and enjoy a candlelit Earth Hour celebration with your own family on Saturday, March 26 starting at 8:30 pm.

Best of all, talk with your families about ways to "Go Beyond the Hour," by making thoughtful choices about how each of us can change our behaviours and take lasting action to protect our planet.
