Let's Keep Celebrating!

The literature, the research, and the programs all say the same thing: 'when we work together we contribute to the success of our students'. Our multicultural potluck was a huge success because our families and our community gathered and we ate, danced, drew, listened, watched, played, volunteered, cooperated, laughed, and so much more, TOGETHER.

Immense thank yous to each and everyone of you who came out!
What amazing school spirit we have :-)

In the coming days we will post all the names of individuals, and businesses who helped us produce the event.

Next Council/ACTION TEAM Meeting:
Wednesday, December 2

All community members welcome.

Join us to brainstorm our upcoming special events: Holiday Concert raffle and bake sale, Winterlude...

If you, or someone you know would like to attend but requires an interpreter, please contact us as soon as possible so that interpreter services can be arranged.

Parent Engagement Survey

From the Desktop of Michelle Munroe, Central Co-ordinator Parent and Community Involvement, TDSB

The Ministry of Education has drafted a parent engagement policy. They have developed an on-line survey to get parents input/feedback on the survey. Please review the policy and respond to survey. This is a great opportunity to have input. Please share this with all your parent and community contacts.

You may access the draft policy and survey at: http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/parents/involvement/survey.html
